Climate Change: Global Perspectives / Local Solutions Webinar - May 8, 2021

On May 8, 2021, CCL Hawaii and Faith Action for Community Equity hosted a Climate Change webinar where Dr. Chip Fletcher, national authority and professor of Earth Sciences at UH Manoa, delivered a presentation on climate change and its effects, and the range of solutions required to not only slow global warming, but also to mitigate its consequences. Over 250 people signed up for our virtual event, including individuals from beyond our shores - New Zealand, Philippines, Pakistan, Malawi, Malaysia, Bermuda, and several USA states. About 150 people ultimately joined the event.
